Duration: 15 weeks, 90 hrs in total
Schedule: 3 hrs on Saturdays and 3 hrs on Sundays (6 hrs per week)
Class time: 12 pm – 3 pm EST
Course cost: $2500 (but your 20% discount reduces the course cost to $2000)

In addition, if you refer our course to your friends and they tell us your name, you will receive an extra 10% discount for any referred student. The discounts addup! We can also set up a referral code if this is more convenient for you. Let us know if you would like to sign up for the referral program.

Over 15 weeks, the training camp will cover the most important advancedtopics that come up in the USABO exams. The breakdown of topics is as follows:

* Human physiology and Anatomy: 30%
* Cell Biology & Biochemistry: 30%
* Genetics: 15%
* Plant anatomy and physiology: 15%
* Ecology & Ethology: 10%

Note that the advanced camp is very rigorous and fast–paced. The maintextbooks of the course include:

• Molecular Biology of the Cell by Alberts
• Lehninger Principles of Biochemistry
• Biochemistry by Harvey
• Genetics: Analysis and Principles by Brooker
• Biology of Plants by Raven
• Integrated Principles of Zoology (Hickman)
• Vander’s Human Physiology by Widmaier
• HumanPhysiology by Lauralee Sherwood

USABO 2027 OPEN EXAM BOOTCAMP
During the 8-day long intensive problem-solving training camps you will learn how to solve many USABO Open Exams. We will also delve into statistics and probabilities.

All classes will be held live. But students will also be able to access the Teachableplatform, where they will find videos with step-by-step explanations of the most complicated biology olympiad questions. The Teamsgroup will allow students to ask any questions from any past USABO papers 24/7 during the camp and our experienced tutors will provide comprehensive explanations.

Duration: 8 days
Schedule: 2-4 hrs
Coursecost: $750 (this is without the 20% discount, but with it, it is only $600)
Coursedate: During the Christmas break 2026Time: 12-2 pm EST

THE COURSE WILL BE DIVIDED INTO 3 MODULES:

  • Problem-solving in USABO open exams
    • Around 100 USABO past open exam questions will be explained step-by-step. We will solve USABO 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022 Open exams!!!
  • Statistics and probabilities
    • You will learn about the most important statistical tests, descriptive statistics, and probability theories for the biology olympiad. This will include lots of practice problems to help you apply your knowledge to real biology olympiad problems.
  • Advanced problem-solving, data analysis, and result interpretation
    • Around 50 advanced biology questions will be explained and solved by our tutors. This will help you learn how to interpret graphs and illustrations, analyze data, and interpret results.

The course will be taught by IBO medalists and USABO semifinalists.

Biological Data Analysis & Research Interpretation Camp with a Former ThermoFisher Scientific Researcher

If you want to imporve your lab and practical skills, we are offering the Biological Data Analysis & Research Interpretation Camp led by a former ThermoFisher Scientific Researcher.

Why This Camp Is Different

Traditional biology prep focuses on acquiring knowledge. But at advanced competition levels and in real-world research, knowing facts isn’t enough. Students must be able to evaluate an unfamiliar experiment and deduce what is actually happening.

Program Details & Format

  • Duration: 8 Weeks
  • Total Live Classes: 16 Classes (2 per week)
  • Class Length: 90–120 minutes per class
  • Target Audience: 8th–10th graders, USABO Open Exam qualifiers, AP Biology students, and high schoolers interested in molecular biology, biotechnology, or research. (No prior research or bioinformatics experience required!)

Curriculum at a Glance

  • Module 1: Foundations of Scientific Data Analysis
    • Class 1: How to Read a Scientific Research Paper
    • Class 2: Experimental Design, Variables & Controls
  • Module 2: DNA Analysis & Genomics
    • Class 3: DNA Sequencing Data (Sanger, NGS, Alignment)
    • Class 4: Genomics & Comparative DNA Analysis
    • Class 5: CRISPR & Gene-Editing Data
  • Module 3: RNA Analysis & Transcriptomics
    • Class 6: Gene Expression Fundamentals
    • Class 7: RT-PCR & qPCR Analysis
    • Class 8: RNA-Seq & Transcriptomics (Volcano Plots, Heat Maps)
    • Class 9: Single-Cell RNA Sequencing (UMAP, t-SNE Plots)
  • Module 4: Proteomics & Protein Analysis
    • Class 10: Protein Detection Techniques (Western Blots, ELISA, Immunofluorescence)
    • Class 11: Mass Spectrometry & Proteomics
    • Class 12: Signaling Pathways & Protein Networks
  • Module 5: Cell Biology Data Analysis
    • Class 13: Microscopy & Biological Imaging
    • Class 14: Flow Cytometry & Gating Strategies
  • Classes 15–16: Integrated Research & Data Analysis
    • Multi-panel figure interpretation, connecting multi-step experiments (DNA Sequencing → qPCR → Western Blot → Microscopy), and solving complex USABO-style data problems.

Skills Students Will Master

By the end of this 8-week program, students will confidently:

  1. Interpret molecular biology, genomics, and proteomics data figures.
  2. Evaluate positive/negative controls, replicates, and sources of experimental bias.
  3. Separate experimental evidence from author interpretation.
  4. Reason through unfamiliar research problems under competition pressure.
