Junior Biology Olympiad Training Program – Starts September 20

The Biolympiads Academy is excited to announce our Junior Biology Olympiad Training Program, a 12-week online course designed for middle school students in Grades 6–8 from around the world!

The program introduces young learners to important concepts in biology while helping them build the knowledge, problem-solving skills, and confidence needed for future participation in the Biology Olympiad in high school.

What Students Will Learn

Over 12 weeks, students will explore key biology topics through 24 structured lessons. Our goal is not simply to memorize facts, but to help students understand biological concepts, develop scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills, and establish a strong foundation for more advanced Biology Olympiad training.

Class Format

Each class will combine focused instruction with review and interactive learning:

30 minutes of structured teaching and review of class materials
10-minute break
15 minutes of Kahoot games to reinforce key concepts in a fun and engaging way

The Kahoot sessions will give students an opportunity to test their understanding, practice recall, and review important concepts covered during the lesson.

Course Textbook

The primary textbook for the program is CPO Focus on Life Science. Students will typically cover 2–3 chapters each week, with homework accompanying each class.

Students will also receive lesson handouts that can be printed before class.
